dr. Ivona Marčelja Paravić MD, MBCAM, graduated in 2008 from the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Rijeka, majoring in general medicine.
After a short work experience in Croatia, she moved to the United Kingdom, where she continued working in the hospital's emergency department in London. In the meantime, she is finishing her education for an Advanced Life Support instructor.
Her career continues in the field of surgery, first at the department of urology and then at the department of gynecology and obstetrics at top London hospitals, Guys Hospital and St. Thomas's Hospital, London.
In 2016, she started her independent career and opened Marelle Aesthetics, in the western part of London (Twicknham). After several years, he became an educator at the Medical Aesthetics Training Academy (MATA), Harley Street, London. He is a member of the General Medical Council, British College of Aesthetic Medicine, Aesthetics Complications Expert group (ACE) and Complications in Medical Aesthetics Collaborative (CMAC).

Hyaluronic filler injection is performed with a local anesthetic that will reduce potential pain.
After treatment with hyaluronic dermal fillers, it is possible to experience redness, swelling or sensitivity at the filler injection site. The redness usually disappears after a few hours, while the swelling and bruising usually disappear in a few days.
After the treatment, it is recommended to avoid exposure to the sun, going to the sauna and solarium, and pressing the part of the face that has been treated.
Treatment with hyaluronic fillers is usually effective for 6-12 months, but with just one additional treatment, the effect can be extended up to the next 18 months. To prolong the effect of the lip treatment, it is necessary to do the next treatment within six months of the first treatment.
Hyaluronic dermal fillers have become the gold standard in the last ten years when it comes to filling facial wrinkles and revitalizing it. There are several reasons for the great increase in the popularity of fillers, namely their compatibility and biological breakdown in the skin, ease of application and speed of the procedure, and immediately visible results. Also, the application of hyaluronic filler does not disturb facial expressions and appearance in any way.
Hyaluronic filler is a crystal clear gel that is injected into the skin itself (in some cases just under the skin) in very small amounts to restore its fullness and structure. Its composition is very similar to hyaluronic acid found in the human body. It is not of animal origin, which means that the risk of allergic or hypersensitivity reactions is minimal.
Hyaluronic filler is most often used to fill already formed wrinkles and furrows with the aim of rejuvenation, although the application has also been extended to very young people (from 25 years of age and older) as a prevention of the formation of wrinkles. We also use it for lip augmentation and facial contouring.
The most common areas of use are nasolabial furrows (from the root of the nose to the corner of the lips), glabellar lines (between the eyebrows), wrinkles around the mouth and eyes, but it can also be used for other areas.

VOLBELLA is a denser filler, and is used to fill lips, dark circles and to fill surface wrinkles.
VOLIFT is used for lips, nasolabial furrows, and chin wrinkles.
VOLUMA is a very dense filler that can define and lift facial skin extremely well. It is commonly used to add volume and definition to the cheeks, jawline and chin.
VOLUX is the densest filler. It is used exclusively to define the jawline or chin.
